Beaches Car Wash and Gift Gallery owners Brian Martin and David Johnson wanted to give back to their community at the holidays. “And we wanted to do something different,” Martin said.

Beaches Car Wash and Gift Gallery hosted a fundraiser during the month of December in 2016 to raise money for Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida, an area nonprofit that raises money for a broad range of services that are aimed to assist people within the community. Both Jacksonville Beach and St. Nicholas Beaches Car Wash locations donated $5 for every Express Package sold and $2 for every Works Package sold that month. They were successful in raising over $5,000 as a result, in which they donated to LSS.
